On October 24, the Shenzhen Yantian District People’s Court announced sentences for seven bribery-related-cases of medical system publicly.

Kong Deqi, the former director of Shenzhen Henggang People’s Hospital, was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Hou Qingzhong, the former Party chief of Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and former director of the Shenzhen Women and Children Health Hospital, was sentenced to 6.5 year fixed terms. Liu Shoutao, former deputy director of Shenzhen Women and Children Health Hospital and former director of Oral Disease Control and Prevention Center, was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
