China Passed a New Exit-Entry Administration Law

The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the Exit-Entry Administration Law on June 30, which will come into effect on July 1 next year.

The new law may provide Chinese citizens dedicated lanes at the Immigration and Custom Control. Overseas Chinese citizens may use their passport as their proof of identity when handling their affairs such as financial matters in China.
