Apr 23, 2020 (China Knowledge) - Today the Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,838.50, down 0.19%, and Shenzhen Component Index finished at 10,564.05, down 0.50%, the Hang Seng Index closed at 23,977.32, up 0.35%. The trading volume for three exchanges recorded USD 108.3 bln, up 9.51% from the previous trading day.

The markets turned up 1,317 gainers, 2,358 losers, and 128 remained unchanged. There were 76 triggered the limit up 10% 'circuit breakers' and 18 hit the limit down 10% cap.

There was a net inflow total of USD 33.89 mln invested in the A-shares via the Hong Kong Stock Connect.
