Two Citizens from Mainland China Sent to RTL for Attending a March in Hong Kong

A group of 57 petitioners from mainland China participated in the Hong Kong July 1 demonstration. Song Ningsheng and Zen Jiuzi, both from Ningdu County in Jiangxi Province, petitioned in Beijing after coming back from Hong Kong , but were intercepted by local public officers and were sent home. After being subject to a 10-days administrative detention, they were further sentenced to RTL reeducation through labor for one year on a charge of disrupting public order and illegal petitioning.
