Feng Zhenghu, a Shanghai rights-advocate has been under house arrest for three months by Shanghai State Political Security Police. He has been banned from receiving anyfriends, and his computer and mobile phones have been confiscated. He has also been cut off from any contact with the outside world. The authorities forbade him from going out to buy food and daily necessities, requiring him to seek assistance from relatives, friends, and other kind people. When guards refused to transmit such donations, his supporters resorted to hanging the food up from the balcony window on the third floor.
