Systemic Corruption in the Hunan Commission for Discipline Inspection Repeatedly Breaks National Records

Since 2004, CCP’s Hunan Commission for Discipline Inspection (CDI) of Hunan has successively broke national records.

In 2004, Peng Jinyong, former Chengde municipal secretary of the CDI was the first secretary of the CDI at the city district level to be sentenced to prison for accepting bribes, graft and for possessing vast amounts of assets from unidentifiable sources.

In 2005, former Loudi municipal party secretary and deputy secretary of the CDI Luo Ziguang was the first incumbent secretary of the CDI at the city district level to be sentenced for corruption.
