Large-Scale Teachers' Strike in Chongqing and Sichuan

According to a report by Yin Hongwei, a journalist with Nanfeng Chuang magazine, during the period between September and October 2008, Sichuan and Chongqing teachers repeatedly held large-scale strikes. The reason was that the teachers’ salaries were much lower than those of public officials.
