Luo Qian to Sue the Department of Justice of Hunan Province

Department of Justice of Hunan Province heard the case of voidness of the judicial exam result of Luo Qian and decided to affirm the original decision. Luo Qian is going to bring an administrative litigation.

Luo Qian, 44 years old, was a student of the People's University of China during the student movement in 1989, and participated in the Tiananmen Square Demonstration, hunger strike and Student Picket. He was imprisoned half a year and reeducated through labor twice. His application for political asylum overseas after the Tiananmen Square Demonstration had been quelled. He currently works as a night watchman of a countryside middle school in Xinning county of Hunan Province.
