Beijing and Guangdong Social Organizations Allowed to Directly Apply Registration with the Civil Affairs Department

Guangdong province’ “Program to Further Develop and Standardize Management of Social Organizations” stipulates that, starting from July 1, 2012, “professional supervising unit of social organizations” will change its name into “professional guidance units”, and furthermore, social organizations would be able to register directly with the Civil Affairs department without previous review and approval from the “professional supervising unit” except provision otherwise or some special social organizations.
