Peking University Publishes First Report on Government Transparency

On September 28 (International Right-to-Know Day), the Peking University Center for Public Participation Studies and Supports published “An Observation Report on China’s Government Transparency, Year 2011-2012.”

The Report shows that clear progress has been made by the agencies under the State Council. At the provincial level, transparency of the Guangdong Provincial Government has fallen for 3 consecutive years. Beijing Government’s transparency ranks the first.
