On November 2, about 100 people from Yangtze University arrived at the Jingzhou District and Jingzhou City government requesting the government to shut down the Chu Hang Steel Plant. About 20 people kneeled in front of the District Government; among them, some were professors and students. The oldest were about 80 years old and the youngest were about 20 years old.
