Because his son died in 2008 for taking tainted milk powder, Tang Lin claimed in a QQ networking platform for the parents of affected children that “I will go to the extremes” and so on in regards to seeking justice. He was charged with “spreading terrorist information and creating a terror atmosphere” and was sentenced for a year of Re-education through Labor by the Chongqing Municipal Government RTL Committee on May 20th, 2010.
